Motorcycle Headset for Flip-up Helmets and System Helmets

Professional high fidelity motorcycle headsets for flip-up helmets and system helmets with a spiral microphone cable and shielded connecting cables for Softline®Intercoms provide perfect speech and HiFi-music reproduction with the best sound quality with airy bass and distortion-free treble. The noise-compensating microphone technology also provides excellent speech intelligibility, even with loud helmets and at high speeds. Due to comfort reasons, the loudspeakers are kept in a very flat non-bulky design.

Installation

Installation is done by means of Velcro in the ear cup space, preferably under the cover fabric. All Softline motorcycle headsets comply with the ECE standard. When being installed according to our instructions, the ECE approval is retained.

Dynamic flat HiFi speakers, stereo, 32 Ohm, 8-22.000 Hz, 106dB/1kHz, 40mm diameter, 8mm height (without Velcro), 2 x 1W max.
Noise-cancelling dynamic near-field microphone with a directivity characteristic, 500 Ohm, 40-8.000 Hz, in combination with the foam windscreens the ambient noise is reduced by ~16dB (or expressed in speed units: the noise level at the microphone is reduced from 160 km/h to 60 km/h)
The helmet headsets are assembled in a modular manner, the microphone and the loudspeakers are pluggable, which simplifies the installation in the helmet considerably
The microphone cable has a spiral design and thus protects against pinching the fold-back chin section of the flip-up/system helmet
Waterproof DIN plug connections with strain relief and retaining clip
Shielded cables protect against interference (ignition rattling)
Compatibility of the helmet headsets with Softline®Intercoms is ensured
