A shielded GPS-adapter ensures an interference-free navigation announcement with the headsets via the Goldwing-Radio.
The volume of the navigation announcement is looped into the helmet communication and thus provides an automatic speed and volume adjustment with high brilliance and clarity.
The navigation system adapter features a 3,5 mm jack plug for the headphone socket of the navigation device, as well as an Interlink adapter cable which is plugged into the connection cable between the Goldwing-Radio and the helmet headset. The cable lengths are dimensioned in a way that the adapter can be stored in the left glove compartment.
The Interlink adapter 2-5516 is designed for the Goldwing Series GL1200 and GL1500. For the GL1800 series, the adapter is supplied as a 2-5516-A, with electronic interference cancellation. This extension also provides a very purified communication signal for the GL1200/1500 series, free of all electronic and acoustically noticeable interference, known from ignition rattling and whistling.
